We are proud sponsors of the "Arts in April" series of events!
Four creative and fun community events to bring us together, in collaboration with other non-profit organizations who serve Longboat Key. Please join us in celebrating the arts, and each other!

Our Mission & Purpose
The Longboat Key Foundation was founded in 2019 to identify and fund initiatives that enhance the quality of life for Longboat Key residents and visitors. The Longboat Key experience defined by a premier community, exceptional service, and distinctive amenities is the product of prior generations' vision for this community. Our mission is to sustain and elevate the life we all enjoy here.

Previous campaign successes:
-
Start-up funds to establish medical and wellness facilities on the island
-
Funding for design and construction of the Karon Family Pavilion for the Town Center Green
-
Supporting local Veterans' organization, SRQ Vets with fundraising
-
Donor funding to complete K-9 artificial turf in the small, and large Dog Parks at Bayfront Park
-
Assisting the Town's fundraising for the 200-seat community space and elevated outdoor terrace to be designed and constructed as additions to the Sarasota County Library

Funds continue to be accepted to bring events, speakers, programs and enhanced furniture and fixtures to the future Longboat Key Library community spaces. Groundbreaking is planned for later this year.
